Taleesha Thorogood

Past President

Taleesha Thorogood is a Senior Consultant with Crestview Strategy, based out of the Calgary Office.

Prior to joining the Crestview team, Taleesha worked as a Senior Business Advisor serving clients in the government relations practice of an international law firm. She also brings experience from her time at the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers, where she improved the public’s acceptance and understanding of the oil and natural gas sector through campaigns, communications, community engagement, and stakeholder relations. Before moving West and making Alberta home, Taleesha worked in federal politics. She completed her time in Ottawa in the strategic communications unit of the Office of the Leader of the Official Opposition.

Taleesha has worked and volunteered on multiple provincial, federal, and leadership campaigns. She served on the tour team for the Conservative Party in the 2019 and 2021 federal elections and for the United Conservative Party in the 2019 Alberta provincial election. In this role, she provided effective advance staffing for the leader’s public engagements across the country and province.

She currently serves as national President of the Public Affairs Association of Canada (PAAC) and was previously the President of PAAC’s Alberta Chapter for two years. She also volunteers her time on the board of the Hydrogen Business Council.

Taleesha was named one of The Peak’s Emerging Leaders in 2022.
