PAAC Alberta Chapter President and Director
Graham Sucha is an accomplished public affairs professional with extensive experience in government relations, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communications. He’s spent 7 years supporting public engagement and advocacy efforts within the not-for-profit and post secondary community, including in his current role as the Executive Director for the Graduate Students’ Association at the University of Calgary .
Graham Studies television broadcasting at Algonquin College and political sciences at and Carleton University in Ottawa before entering politics where in 2015 he was elected as a Member of the Legislative Assembly in the riding of Calgary Shaw. During his tenure, he chaired the Standing Committee on Alberta’s Economic Future, which led high-impact legislative reviews, and served on the Select Special Ethics and Accountability Committee. His contributions to intergovernmental collaboration were further recognized through his appointment as Vice-President of the Pacific NorthWest Economic Region (PNWER), where he helped coordinate cross-border policy initiatives during NAFTA renegotiations.
As President of PAAC Alberta, Graham brings a deep understanding of both public service and the evolving communications landscape. He previously served as Treasurer of the chapter and remains committed to advancing ethical, effective advocacy in Alberta.
