Gabriela Gonzalez

PAAC Alberta Chapter President and Director

Gabriela is Calgary-based multilingual public affairs professional with twelve years of experience in the sector. She is currently a Senior Strategy Manager, Government Relations at TELUS and a part-time professor at Seneca College. Prior to her current roles, Gabriela worked in public and Indigenous engagement, government relations consulting and as a political staff. Gabriela has been a PAAC Alberta Board Director since January 2021 and was the Communications Chair for the 2021-22 term. She is also a Board Director with the Canadian Children’s Book Centre and served on the board of an Equal Voice Chapter and a community legal clinic. Gabriela is a longtime political activist and has volunteered on municipal, provincial and federal campaigns. She holds a Master’s in Public and International Affairs and an Honours Bachelor of Arts from York University. She spends her spare time volunteering and with her young family in the Rocky Mountains.
