Christina Marciano

Membership Chair

Christina is a Vice President in the Environment Practice at Sussex Strategy Group. With a passion for environmental issues, she is adept at identifying and understanding emerging policy developments and how these relate to her clients’ interests and objectives. Christina is a seasoned public affairs professional with 10 yearsof experience and a comprehensive understanding of the many complexities associated with providing effective government relations support.  

As a strategic thinker with a keen ability to navigate complex regulatory information and evolving political dynamics, Christina manages the development and execution of successful tactical advocacy, stakeholder relations, and communications plans on behalf of clients with precision, creativity, and enthusiasm. Christina works primarily with clients on matters pertaining to sustainability, resource recovery and the circular economy, climate change policy, carbon pricing, chemicals management, and clean tech, as well as other environmentally focused issues to build consensus, enact change, and make a positive impact.


Christina holds a Master of Arts in Political Studies from Queen’s University where she also earned her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Studies and Women’s Studies. She is also a GRI Certified Sustainability Professional.

 

Christina has been a featured speaker for academic and industry events, and she currently chairs Sussex’s events committee. Christina joined Sussex in 2012.
