Ceara Copps-Edwards is an experienced and passionate public affairs and communications professional with a diverse background, joining NATIONAL Public Relations as the Manager of Capital Markets in the fall of 2021.
Prior to joining NATIONAL, Ceara was the Manager of Public Affairs at the Ontario Chamber of Commerce where she led communications and government relations efforts on the COVID-19 Rapid Screening Initiative, key policy initiatives and reports as well as leading signature events including the Ontario Economic Summit, Ontario's premier business and political forum. Ceara started her career at Oliver Publishing specializing in financial services and communications.
Ceara currently sits as a board of director on the Public Affairs Association of Canada board where she mentors young professionals entering the industry.
With her love for delicious food and healthy eating, Ceara started her food blog, Ceara’s Kitchen in 2013 which has grown into a sustainable business with 200+ new and original healthy recipes, 95K+ social followers & 200K pageviews a month, featured on Huffington Post, Buzzfeed, One Green Planet, Yahoo News, and MSN News.
Ceara has a BA (Hons) from the University of Ottawa as well as a Master of Science and Culture from the KU Leuven in Belgium. The KU Leuven has been ranked the most innovative university in Europe according to Reuters.
Born and raised in Toronto and having lived in Ontario, Quebec, France, and Belgium, Ceara is an adventurer who currently resides in Toronto with her dog, Henry.
