Our client is a large, high-profile business undertaking an important project that benefits British Columbians. Reporting to the Managing Director, the VP, Government Relations is responsible for engaging with various levels of government. The VP is responsible for devising a best-in-class government engagement strategy for all levels and forms of Government and Government agencies (Local, Provincial, Federal – Canadian and US); effectively communicating the benefits of the project and how the project will credibly fit within the framework of key government policies and targets; engaging with various government levels to secure commitment and obtain required levels of support; crafting and managing all key messaging.
