Robyn Gray is a Senior Associate in the Energy and Environment Practice at Sussex. Robyn provides counsel and strategic advice to a number of clients in the environment sector, particularly related to regulatory permitting and approvals, resource recovery, and climate change policy. Robyn also works with clients on issues related to energy supply, transmission, and related permitting and approvals.
Prior to joining to Sussex, Robyn was a senior consultant at a leading public affairs firm in Australia, providing strategic counsel to a number of domestic and international clients. Previously, Robyn worked at Queen’s Park for the Minister of Government Services, Minister of Consumer Services, and Minister of the Environment. She has also worked as Deputy Manager, Strategic Research and Policy, Liberal Caucus Services Bureau. Robyn previously worked on the federal level of government as a special assistant to the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and Minister of Indian and Northern Affairs.
Robyn has a Master’s Degree in Environmental Studies from York University, where she specialized in climate change policy. Robyn is a CSA-certified GHG Inventory Quantifier, and recently earned her certificate in GHG Inventory, Accounting and Reporting from the University of Toronto. She is a founding member of Nature Canada’s Women for Nature initiative.
Robyn has thoroughly enjoyed her time as a Director on the PAAC Board for the past two years, having participated in the planning of some of the PAAC events as well having participated in the coordination of the annual PAAC conference.
