Dear PAAC Members
As we continue to wade through these challenging times, I want to extend the well wishes of our National and Chapter boards to you and your families. It is certainly not "business as usual" at PAAC, with COVID-19 preventing us from holding our highly regarded professional development, mentorship, and social events. It has forced our event committees back tothe drawing board to come up with new and innovative ways to connect our members across the country. On March 31, PAAC held its first webinar with over 150 people in attendance and we will continue to explore and offer these opportunities for as long as needed. During a time when we are physically divided, we can utilize technological advancements to help bring us together.
Finally, on behalf of the entire public affairs community, I want to extend our sincere gratitude to those working on the front lines fighting this pandemic, keeping our economy running, and our families fed. Whether you are driving a truck, working in a grocery store, or in a healthcare setting, we will forever be indebted to you for your selflessness and courage.
I hope everyone stays healthy and occupied. We look forward to seeing all your faces in person in the near future.
